After i solve the captcha it simply says "failed to sign in" "failed to fetch". I'm writing this on desktop right now

hmm browser? Android, I guess? Are there any browser extensions enabled, or an ad blocker?

Android, Chrome, no extensions and no ad block

Really weird, please try erasing all cached data for catodon.rocks from the browser and signing in again.
