Somehow, I'm able to do this specific drawing entirely from my memories, without the need for looking up any visual references... Haunting memories, I'd say. I can even hear it: "trum-trum-trum... trum-trummm" (or whatever's the onomatopoeia for Windows XP startup sound). Oh, and the voices... The screeching voices (dial-up sound).
I'm not sure about the Skype icon, though: whether it's white on light blue, or light blue on white. I didn't look it up, yet.

Again, I drew this Windows XP screen entirely from visual memory with no recent references. Now I looked up the references in order to check the accuracy of my nostalgic-zennial visual memory. Not entirely bad, I guess?

Because of course, I ended up digressing and now I have drawn the outside landscape: Samhara Kali, majestically hovering with Her collar of skulls and sticking-out-tongue (it was definitely not easy to draw 9 hands, but I guess I got it).
Maybe I should do a higher-res version of this drawing...
(And several other absurd/surreal details briefly mentioned in my alt-text)

Then I checked the Tantra Sadhana website, headed into their Ma Kali gallery, then TIL'd about the Srishti Kali manifestation of Kali. While staring at the Srishti Kali depiction, I was suddenly caught by this "wait!" moment: Srishti Kali is trampling on a lion... Then I recalled about Qetesh, the Egyptian Goddess who's also trampling on a lion (and one of the only two Ancient Egyptian deities whose faces were originally depicted as looking towards the viewer with both eyes; all other Ancient Egyptian deities were depicted in profile face). And both resemble the Burney Relief.
(I was doing a drawing intending to make fun of the recent PHP CVS, I guess? Oh, my mind is so chaotic)
