### Moderator Guidelines * Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral. * Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username. * When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM. * Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users. * Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling. * Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal. * Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated. * Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren’t unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do. * Don’t rush mod actions. Skip steps if necessary. * Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”. * No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.). * Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback. * Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.

can i? DAY 57 [OC, brainmade]

White has their legs pulled close and Lilac is holding Whites legs from behind, creating a sort of hug. Lilac mentions "I wanna eat you up like I eat chili cheese burgers". That makes White think for a bit, repeating bits of what Lilac said "...like...chili...cheese". After a few seconds, White remembers what that looks, gets really blushy and embarassed and utters "oh! oh god...". finally, Lilac asks in a soft speech bubble "can i?". bottom right says "by maria on lemmy"

so i was at BK, eating an unreasonably expensive plant-based chili chee tortilla 🌶️🧀. it was good, maybe a bit too good. i started eating it… differently, until i noticed what i was doing. almost like in these TV commercials where they kinda kiss-eat a whopper or something.

it was tasty. and no, unfortunately the 1% cheese in the chili cheese sauce was unfortunately not vegan i have to inform you. sorry.

Ah, so most of everything nowadays. “Working for an hour costs as much as a sandwich,” comes to mind.

it was like 7€ and… honestly, at that point you might just wanna get 3 regular chili cheese burgers instead.

but ut does taste really nice and it does fill up a bit. buuuuuut… at that point, get a whopper. I just like the chili chee ~

hehe yea the ads were accurate. i just… yeaystarted eating very tenderly and then cought myself aaand ate totally regularly again. oh well----

Hello! I’ve seen you around, and I noticed you’ve altered the way you style your text over time. out of curiosity (and please feel no need to answer if it makes you at all uncomfortable), was that a conscious choice, or were you more intentional about altering your voice. I ask because I have pretty consciously changed the voice of my writing over time, and also between spaces like lemmy, where I’m (obviously) a bit more formal, and private matrix rooms or group chats where I’m more informal. I like language, and any time I see people doing interesting things with their own idiolects (personal dialects) and sociolects (subculture dialects) it fascinates me.
