If a service (or product) is essential to full participation in society, then it should be publicly owned and operated as a #PublicService

If that public service requires a limited resource, at the global level, then that service should be administered at the #UN to ensure equitable distribution / access globally

We are currently witnessing the consequences of allowing services, like the media (both traditional and social), that are essential to full participation in society being left in the hands of private individuals and seeing those individuals manipulate them for their own benefit.
