Today I was reading up on "The Loop", which is a dedicated tunnel/street path to move people around Las Vegas, specifically to/from the LVCC.

And it turns out to be exactly what I predicted in my rant against self-driving cars. The Loop is essentially public transport, but in individual bubbles (Teslas) driven by a professional driver.

It reminds me of Disney's PeopleMover, although I think they would have been better off with a Monorail instead.
