the wild one native to socatra, is the yellow version, but i dont think has been domesticated like the red one.

Bruh you should just starting eating all the ornamentals and let us know what else “big landscaping” is hiding from us.
I tried, ornamental lilly-pillies taste like carpet. Silverberry, also tastes like carpet. The fruit from citrus rootstock, carpet.
Ornamental peppers are ridiculously hot, like much much hotter than even reapers.
Might be cabale of causing chemical burns if you eat enough of them. Idk.
I had an ornamental pepper plant at a prior house and tried making salsa by roasting a couple of them. It was actually surprisingly good - the peppers had a great flavor. They were very small, and I did deseed them before roasting, so overall the salsa was hot but not unacceptably so.
You’re not fooling anyone. Those are Vitamin E skin care capsules. /s

Those are clearly pomegranate seeds. You even have one in the top left of your pic like op.
The only thing in mine is styrofoam. :(
This is a Peppy Le Pom variety.
The description says:\
These develop into tiny little pomegranate fruits, which, while technically edible, have only a few small, sour seeds inside, so they’re really best appreciated on the plant.
I tried one pip last year and boy was it sour. I just assumed they were basically inedible based on that. I just left the fruit on the plant this year, but they’re really old now and some had spit open so I decided to check a pup again. It was tasty enough I grabbed all 3-4 fruits that had split.
